Ordering & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Standard NZ-wide shipping takes 3 to 5 business days. Stainless steel handles in stock ship within 1 to 2 business days, and stainless made to order takes 1 to 2 weeks. Made-to-order brass and bronze handles take 3 to 4 weeks. Smart locks ship within 5 to 7 business days. Full detail is in our Shipping policy.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. Shipping is free New Zealand wide with no minimum order.

Do you ship internationally?

Checkout is set up for New Zealand delivery only. For an overseas order, email sales@entrancehandles.co.nz with the products you want and your full delivery address. We will price the freight, send you a quote, and once you are happy we will email you an invoice you can pay online. Full detail is in our Shipping policy.

Product Information

What is 316 marine-grade stainless steel?

316 stainless steel is the highest grade used in architectural hardware. It contains molybdenum which gives superior corrosion resistance, making it ideal for coastal and high-moisture environments. All our stainless handles are made from 316-grade steel.

What finishes are available?

Stainless handles come brushed as standard, or powder-coated in matt black, bronze, or any colour on the Dulux chart. The brass range is machined to order. Choose polished or satin brass, a matt or gloss clear powder coat, or a beeswax living finish that is left to patina. Bronze is the same brass with a bronze finish, in a matt or gloss clear powder coat or beeswax.

What sizes do you offer?

Our 316 stainless handles run from 250mm to 1000mm fixing centres, which is 325mm to 1200mm overall length depending on the style. Every size for a given handle is in the table on its product page. Custom sizes can be made to order. Contact us for details.

Will your handles fit my door?

Our 316 stainless handles suit timber and aluminium doors 32mm to 70mm thick, and glass doors 10mm to 15mm thick. Our brass and bronze handles are made by us in New Zealand. They suit doors 25 mm to 40 mm thick on the standard 70 mm screws, and we can supply 80 mm screws for doors to 50 mm or 90 mm screws for doors to 60 mm. On glass we use 45 mm screws, for panels 3 mm to 15 mm thick. Tell us your door thickness when you order and we cut the screws to suit. Can I pair a smart lock with a pull handle?

Installation

Can I install the handles myself?

Yes. Each handle comes with all necessary fixings and an installation guide. You will need a drill with appropriate bits for your door material. For glass doors, we recommend professional installation.

What fixings are included?

Every 316 stainless handle fixes with M8 through-bolts. All handles include through-bolt fixings for timber and aluminium doors, and nylon spacers and washers for glass. Back-to-back configurations include all necessary spacers and bolts. Smart locks include their own mounting hardware and strike plates.

Returns & Warranty

What is your returns policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging. Made-to-order items (including custom sizes and powder-coated finishes) cannot be returned unless faulty. See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.

What warranty do you offer?

Every Entrance Handles pull handle, in stainless, brass or bronze, carries a 2-year warranty on materials and workmanship and a 1-year warranty on the finish. On brass, patina and colour change are not covered, because brass and its bronze finish are living finishes, and the clear top-coat is a finish, not a defect. On stainless, tea staining is a maintenance matter, and our care guide shows how to remove it. Smart locks carry Keyless Solutions' 2-year manufacturer warranty on the mechanism and electronics, batteries excluded. Contact us first and we handle the claim with Keyless.

Do you offer trade pricing?

Yes. We offer significant trade pricing for approved trade customers including builders, contractors, and architects. The exact rate is disclosed after your account is approved. Learn more about trade accounts or apply here.

What do I need to apply for a trade account?

You will need your company name, NZBN (New Zealand Business Number), and contact details. Applications are reviewed within 1 to 2 business days.
